Guidelines for Oral Presentation
PREPARATION OF THE ORAL VIDEOS
After receiving confirmation of abstract acceptance, presenters should prepare for their oral video presentation as a pre-recorded submission.
Please read the following guidelines for the video presentation:
- Time limit:
Oral video presentation must be within a maximum of 7 minutes only.
- Video presentation content:
There is no specific template for presentations, and participants can adopt any of their preferences.
However, the slides in the video presentation must contain the following:
- Title of the paper, authors, and affiliation
- Conference title
- The presenter should be visible at any corner of the video. A video without the presenter being seen will not be accepted.
- Judging:
- All oral presentations will be evaluated for best presentation by judges before and during the conference.
- There will be a 3-minute Q&A following the presentation (presenters should be available for the live Q&A session)
- Presenters must adhere to the time limit.
- Video upload:
- The video file must be labelled as Registration-ID-Name of Presenter-Affiliation-oral-videog. 101 Norhafiza Razali MOH oral video
- *note: presenter’s name MUST be the same as initial registration
- Deadline for video upload: 15 March 2022 (2359H) – Malaysian Time

- The presenters are free to choose their preference of video recording software.
- The video recording should be in MP4 format.
- Please check the recording for quality and understandability. The timing should not be more than 7 minutes.
- It is recommended that the video be recorded in at least 1080p for best quality.

Guidelines for Virtual Poster Presentation
PREPARATION OF THE ELECTRONIC POSTERS (E-POSTERS)
Only e-Posters in PDF format will be accepted. It is recommended to make your poster in PowerPoint (Landscape or Portrait) and then save it as a PDF.
Please read the following guidelines for the E-poster presentation:
- The mode of presentation:
- Interactive e-poster accompanied with a voice-over of maximum 3 minutes duration. Please save your file as MP4 and upload it on the link provided below together with the poster PDF.
- The video should contain a brief summary of the research described on the poster and abstract. The poster should be displayed in the video recording.
- The e-poster should meet the following criteria:
- Your Information
- The top of the poster should display the following information: Title of your Paper, Name(s) of the Author(s) and Affiliation(s).
- Conference ID on the top right corner of the poster.
- It is recommended to use size 18, bold for the title and, size 14 for the content of the poster with a choice of a simple and clear font.
- Text and presentation should be in ENGLISH only.
- Content of the Poster
- Ensure that the specific sections (such as the background, methods, results, and conclusions) are easy to locate in the poster.
- The poster should have a clear message, a logical arrangement, and easy to comprehend.
- Avoid using full sentences and instead use concise text in bullet point format.
- E-poster and Video Upload

- Both E-Poster and MP4 file should be uploaded by 15th March 2022 (2359H) – Malaysian time
- Link to upload e-poster and video: Submissions
- All posters will be uploaded to the JCHS 2022 platform by the conference secretariat.
